THE MYSTICAL ISLAND OF CORFU

Austro-Hungarian empress - Sissi visited Corfu quite often to cure her illnesses with the clean and refreshing air of the island. She had this palace built in 1892, at a beautiful spot on top of a mountain overlooking the sea on one side, and the mountains on the other side. There is a small museum in the building which has relics and ordinary objects from the epresses collection and portraits her and her time on Corfu

The most green of the Greek islands,

Corfu , has three million olive trees. As well as flower-strewn countryside and Adriatic-style villages, it has splendid coastal scenery and some excellent secluded beaches
