ALHAMBRA is a palace and fortress complex 

located in Granada, Andalusia, Spain 

It was originally constructed as a small 

fortress in 889 and then largely ignored 

until its ruins were renovated and rebuilt 

in the mid-11th century by the 

Moorish  king Mohammed ben AL-AHMAR

The lavender fields of Senanque Abbey.

Founded by Cistercian monks, 

they are a working abbey 

specializing in the husbandry 

of French lavender and bee-keeping...

Recently taken in Marseille, France...

This giant mirrored canopy called

the  Port Vieux Pavilion  

was designed by Christopher Jobson 

on March 5, 2013.

The pavilion measures nearly 150 feet (46 meters) long 

and is made of highly polished stainless steel 

meant to reflect people and the surrounding environment 

of Marseille’s World Heritage-listed harbor
