ANGLE OF REFLECTION


ALHAMBRA






ALHAMBRA is a palace and fortress complex 

located in Granada, Andalusia, Spain 






It was originally constructed as a small 

fortress in 889 and then largely ignored 

until its ruins were renovated and rebuilt 

in the mid-11th century by the 

Moorish  king Mohammed ben AL-AHMAR

    Hi,Nice captures. I envy you that you are having a long vacation. The guitar music,"Recuerdos de la Alhambra" is very famous too. I like the music very much. Thanks for sharing.

    Oh yes, how wonderful to stroll through the Alhambra and the gardens. I went the first time as a child and was completely smitten...nothing has changed only the crowds grew bigger! Lovely, lovely pictures.

    Very nice shots, as always! I wonder jets of water were not flowing out of the lions' mouths. Pity if you didn't see it. The Patio is really beautiful and the water enhances its beauty...

      Unfortunately It wasn't water flowing out of the lions' mouths...I read that each hour one lion would produce water from its mouth... Maybe we were there in a wrong time...What a pity.
